As with most things in life one should, if possible, take the time to obtain comparative quotations. Look at the companies – their vehicles and facilities and ask a number of questions to ensure that you are dealing with a professional company. Does the company offer well trained staff? Are they dressed in company uniform? Are all vehicles fitted with satellite tracking? Is the companies storage facility suitable to store your possessions in? Is the packing material used of a high standard and are cartons strong and durable?
Select your removal company and book your removal dates well in advance – try to give at least 2 weeks notice if possible.
Also make sure to document all discussions and agreements.
